In Indian investment story post, I wrote how Rakesh went to the past and bid for Wipro IPO from his father's account. But before that he had to buy old currency notes from old notes collector so that he could use it in past for bidding IPO.
Got this old notes idea from South Indian movie Indru Netru Naalai, where actor and his friend too gets access to time travel machine and chooses to buy gold from past. But after buying they give future currency notes, shopkeeper think those are counterfeits and tries to call police. Good movie.
After reading Prathamesh's post on Gold, it got me thinking why not use gold instead of those old currency notes. Why go to the trouble of finding old notes and buying them at premium (what if those old notes are counterfeit and police catches you in past). As you know gold is great storage of value and can be easily use as money even in different decade.
So, if you are planning to do time travel and wish to take money with you in past or future, it makes sense to keep Gold. If you are going to the future, take crypto with you at your own risk.
