Those who know Batman must have seen him fighting for betterment of Gotham city. Heir of Wayne Enterprise loves to use his wealth for making cool gadgets and automobiles for fighting against bad guys.
It must be really tough for his business manager Lucius Fox (I always thought butler Alfred must be doing it) to handle his investments. Either him or Alfred must have to go through the troubles to hide costs of Batman's gadgets via shell corps. This is wrong but this might be the only way to hide this costs from book of Wayne Enterprise. Apart from that he has to constantly hedge the Wayne's investment from Batman himself. You never know which action of batman is going to affect the portfolio of Wayne Enterprise. Along with being hedged, he can remain short on some companies with questionable management, because it's only matter of time before Batman take down those villains.
