I had shared following fictional Investment story as thread on Twitter few weeks back but it is now lost in thousands of @stocks_in tweets. So, I am just re-sharing it here with few changes.
Rakesh has found a way to do one trip time-travel in past. After considering all the scenarios, he finally zeroed in plan to use time travel opportunity to earn money legally. He had heard many stories of how investing ₹10000 in Wipro IPO would have made you rich. So, he makes a plan to go to his past and convince his father to invest in Wipro IPO. He bought old currency notes worth ₹10k from old notes collector. He went to the past as planned, told his parents that he is really their child from future and convinced them to buy Wipro shares. He went to the bank, filled bidding form and payed with those old currency notes. Later he took blessings from the parents and got ready for return journey thinking he would be ultra rich at current date.
Now he is back to the current date, only to find out his father kept selling shares to pay premium of policy, thanks to his neighbour who sold policies. Luckily his wife used her one time-travel trip and succeeded in convincing her mother in-law into buying Gold ornaments.
